Middle & High School Speakers
Lance Hohenstreet, High School Speaker
For the High School Spiritual Retreat (Aug 31-Sept.2) at Quaker Hill, we are excited to have Pastor Lance Hohenstreet speaking. Brother Hohenstreet is a missionary to U.S. military prisons and serves as the Military Ministry Coordinator for Rock of Ages Ministries. He began his ministry as the Assistant Pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Mountain Home, Idaho in 2001-2002 before being commissioned and sent to the field in full-time military prison ministry. He has been based at the U.S. Army NW Joint Regional Corrections Facility (NWJRCF) on Fort Lewis, Washington where he has served as a missionary civilian chaplain for the past 18 years. Brother Hohenstreet and his wife, Christine, have been married for 30 years (as of July 30, 2022). They have two grown and married daughters, Allyson (26) and Leanne (24), and two grandchildren, Harry and Addilynn. Lance and Christine are members of Bible Baptist Church, Puyallup, WA and currently reside in Spanaway, Washington near Joint Base Lewis McChord.
Kaleb Harper, Middle School Speaker
For the Middle School Homebound event (Aug. 31-Sept. 2) we are excited to have Pastor Kaleb Harper speaking on campus. Pastor Kaleb serves as the Children’s Pastor at Bethel Church. He received both his undergraduate and masters degrees from Northwest Nazarene University in Children, Youth, and Family Ministry. He loves playing basketball, being outside, playing board games, and watching Disney movies. Pastor Kaleb met his beautiful wife Courtney while they served together on various mission trips, and he is so excited to have married his best friend in May of 2021! It was on these same trips where he met my wife that he accepted the call to ministry, feeling deeply burdened to serve, teach, and love children and their families. Pastor Kaleb believes children are capable of truly owning their faith, knowing they are loved by God, and being an example of Christlike love to the world. One of his favorite verses is 1 John 4:7: “Dear friends, let’s love each other, because love is from God, and everyone who loves is born from God and knows God.”
