Principal’s Ponderings

Serving Christ by Serving Others

During the first few weeks of school, we love to have a Community Service Day with our Middle and High School students. This year we had it Tuesday and helped out the city of Caldwell, the Boys & Girls Club, and the Boise Rescue Mission. When we first reach out to local non-profits to volunteer, we never know what they will say they need help with. This year, the popular way we helped was with weeding! While it’s never fun to be pulling weeds, it is extremely helpful and the organizations we served were extremely grateful for having a few extra hands.

We have a few pictures from our Community Service Day showing the diligence and hard work that our students put in. We even had a visit from Mayor Jarom Wagoner with our Caldwell group! Everyone we worked with commented on the work ethic of our students and the shirts they had with our spiritual theme on it—they did a fantastic job and showcased the light of Christ in all they did. It is always a blessing to spend time serving others around our community.
